problem fitting a roto start to a LRP Z.28 SPEC 2
I am replacing my pullstart with a roto start and have run into a prolem.I orderd http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...27&FVPROFIL=++ and also http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLBV6&P=V
the problem i am having is that the big gear from the hpi kit does not fit over the hex of the 1 way bearing shaft.the hex head on the shaft is to big,
has anybody run into this problem?

RE: problem fitting a roto start to a LRP Z.28 SPEC 2
I know Tower has the 4.6 roto backplate listed as the one to use with the LRP adapter plate, but I was told that you use the .25 size backplate with it. I almost ordered it with my engine, but was unsure which backplate was needed. I just forgot about it since I'm planning on redoing the chassis and I probably won't be able to use the rotostart anymore.
