STS.28 tuning difficulties
i cannot keep the temps down on my sts.28. it rises to about 310-320 and then dies. i have richened it out a lot and that doesnt help besides messing up the performance. i have also sealed the carb and backplate with epoxy.

how many shims are you running on the cooling head? check them, you should have 4mm. check for air leaks. reset needles to stock and richen a little bit more, run it as rich as you can and see what the temps are. replace your glow plug for a different one even different brand.
