Default Fuel

Right now im running 20% traxxas nitro fuel because it is the easiest thing to find out here. I was wondering what a higher nitro content like 30% would do to any nitro engine. I would also like to know what fuels you guys run. Also what would need to be done in the way of tuning by running the 30% over the 20% nitro?

Thanks

run 30% your engine will run cooler ,and have more power...it may,or may not last as long as running 20%.

The O'donnell 30% is some good stuff. If you want a little more lubrication/protection since you would be going to 30%, run their RTR blend instead of the normal car or race blend.

I saw a decrease in temps and more power from going to 30%. I've used O'donnell and Maxy's 30% now and got almost the same results from each when compared to the 20%. These engines don't last long anyway, what's the POSSIBILITY of knocking another half-gallon of life off going to hurt if you get better performance and cooler running?

O'donnell's 20% for now in my SavX, but I've got a whole gallon of 30% white lightning that I'm itchin to see run when I get around to installing a 20t CB...
