can someobody tell me wats da cheapest nicest engine to buy.becuz i dont have much money.cuz my engine has a little crack in the crank case(stock .21)and the fins r messed up.and i cant find a new crank case.so yea...iuno

You can get the SH .28 Prospec or STS .28 motor off ebay for around $110. Both are good motors and a lot of people really like them.

but regardless of how cheap the engine you get, you'll need to upgrade your diffs to accomodate the power, unless you buy a .25 or lower or something like that.... hpi has that trade in service that will let you trade in your .21 for a .21. they aren't doing the 4.6 yet =/

I just got a Prospec Sh .28 and it is lots of fun. I paid AUS$158 posted. It has plenty enough power!

I love the sts 28 but i had to take it out, too much power! can control that thing!!! you got to really get used to the trigger and never go full throttle at once!
my buggy on the other hand is just a really happay buggy with a .28 and is more controlable!!!

send it to hpi and upgrade for the 4.6 that is the best way to go two year warranty and 150 bucks.

Im not sure but i dont think the 21 comes with the diff upgrade or the servo saver steering so you might want to put those in at the same time as your new engine.
