Hi all
I have had my Savage X for a while now, and I have been getting about 10mins on 1/2 tank. Recently, I have noticed that I am only getting 5 mins on 1/2 tank. I have not changed fules/ajusted tuneing. I did find out the the rubber exhaust thing(the one that comes from the engine to the metal pipe, Joins the engine to the C shape metal pipe) had split, could this be the reason that I am having bad fuel ecconomy? The engine still idles steady and provides good performance (except recently has not been doing wheelies, but I think this could be a clutch issue).
Thanks for any help

Replace the silicone sleve. You can harm your engine by having an exhaust leak. Have you been cleaning your air filter? You should clean it after, at the most, 1 hour of run time.

Clean the air filter every hour???!!!??? What are ya crazy?
Clean it when it looks dirty. I'd be spending all my time cleaning air filters if I had to clean it every hour.

You should clean an air cleaner when it needs it. If you run on a dirt track or in a dirt field it should be done very often. If you run on grass or asphalt than it won't need to be done very often. There's a lot more involved, like how much vacuum is being pulled. For an RC engine I just do it when it looks like it needs it.
