Hello i wanna set up my savage x for serouse jumping like off a roof or someting lol i like all the crazy stuff my shocks set up is still stock any suggestion oil change spring change????? that would help out alot!!!!! my TVP is about to snap from the looks of it right under the lil X on the engine mount section so im change the TVP also...ANY IDEAS ABOUT ONE THAT COULD TAKE A BEATING???? id like a 1'" longer one tho!!! help me out!!!!!

Check fast lane machines, those are good... or integy has some pretty beefy ones. You should probly change your shock oil, try dropping it and see how squishy it is. I think the best way to stiffen up your shocks is with a denser oil. You might wanna even get some integy shocks or an lst shock conversion before or after you start bustin up shafts and poppin the caps off.

Such sick drops with a Savage X is not advisable. thoes little "x"s on the TVPs are the first to fail since thew X is more prone to bottoming out. The old Savage suspenstion would be better suited to taking such punishment without bottoming out.

30-35w oil and black or purple springs.

I don't know why, but the firm springs are available in both black and purple. They are the same spring though.... as far as I can tell.

They are twin vertical plates.They are chassis plates and they hold the savage together.
