LIGHTS
IS there any kind of Light kit for rc trucks. I would like to mount a couple driving style lights on the front of my Savage for driving at dusk? I saw a LED light but I dont think LED will project very far?

RE: LIGHTS
Im going to use a set of bulbs from one of those key chain type flashlights. I'm going to mount them in the sockets of this skull. a reflective backing either painted on or tinfoil should help the beam. Im mostly doing mine for show though.
the bulb Im using for my tail/brake light is alot brighter than an led, got it from a Mcdonalds happy meal.

RE: LIGHTS
I bought a lighting kit off ebay and mounted them through the body. They are great for night driving!

These lights work great for the savage and go in place off the plastic ones. the bulbs are a little bigger and u have to driill out the screw holes to fit the bigger thread in but they are worth it. it only takes like 15 minutes to get them in. I have them on my truck.

These kits use 3 AA batteries wont that add alot of weight and slow down the trucks? Seems like alot of batteries to power a fwe leds?

RE: LIGHTS
Them tower lights are pretty cool, It looks like they run off a 9 volt, thats the connector they have pictured.
my home made red neck lights run of two aspirin sized watch batteries. the whole set up will be costing me nothing.

RE: LIGHTS
i have those lights from tower, those are bright, but not too bright. it's another set made by the same company but it comes with a bar to mount the lights on, and the lights are a very bright bluish color when turned on. check my models in my profile to see those lights on my monster gt

your bringing up 2 year old, if not older posts here. You've got 3 threads now with your lights on them on the same page, with the threads being at least 2 years older. There nice lights, but old threads.
