Don't worry about some old grump. You used capitals and punctuation, your post was easy to read and clear as to your problem, which is far more important than a slang word. By the way, I'm nearly 51 and use slang from several generations and like all kinds of music.

I'm not sure if I'm the "old grump" or not, but I don't have any hard feelings towards this guy... at all. I don't personally care what slang he uses, and I'll even drop the occasional DUDE myself. My intent was to ease the ridicule that fxrs was receiving because of his comment.

Also, my hip-hop comments were not made to belittle anyone either, it's just not my cup of tea.

Worst case scenerio being, you drill it out a little to large,simply put a small nut ,and bolt through it,you have clearance to do this.
