Default Getting Frustrated

Ok so I went to get my savage 4.6ss going and it started all fine, then took off slow and it was horribly gutless, then suddenly it stops and just revs, and it was like it totally disengaged itself! and now thats all it does, it will go about 8 feet then kick out. I heard it might be my tranny, but i have no idea how to tune it or anything which kind of sucks, and not many people around this area own any nitros or anything, and I have my truck half tore apart rite now, like tranny and motor both out of it and what not if someone could please help me get around this it would be greatly appreciated.

put it back together, fire it up and run it. when it fubs up again check the gear mesh, hold the spur and try to turn the cb. then turn the spur and see if your wheels turn, if all thats a go check your slipper, those things can be a pain. i would just crank it tight untill you figure it out.

Could be loose slipper tighten it up until the spring is fully compressed and then loosen it 1/4 turn to a 1/2 a turn. See if that works

If not your clutches might be slipping. only way to fix that is to buy new ones.

Tighten the nut on the end of spur gear that
the red arrows are pointing to in picture.
