Default ok Breakin Complete....

I hope.
i have ran 4 tanks through. Should that be enough or should i do a couple more?

When break in is down how much smoke should be coming out of the pipe on the savage x 4.6, this is my first big block engine

i have a mt2 18 ss so i did not know if it would be different

right now the lsn is maybee 1 turn lower then factory settings that hpi put them at

wondering if that is a good settings for it?

thanks in advance

It's impossible to say whether you got a good tune by just saying "right now the lsn is maybee 1 turn lower then factory settings that hpi put them at" as there are many different things that affects a tune.. Weather, Humidity etc..

It isn't your break-in that makes the smoke, it's your tune..

Do you know how to tune your truck? (I'm guessing so, you had a MT2)

If I were you I'd use your truck, WOT throttle small bursts whatever, but take it easy the next tank or 2 as you may notice performance still increases

i think you need at least 6-10 tanks on that engine to completely break it in

yea I would have leaned it about half a turn from the factory settings after say four tanks then after another 4-5 started leaning it some more.
