Default which servos are you using for the savage?

I was wondering which servos are being used in the Savage for throttle and steering. I am n the process of putting together my second Savage and was just wondering what works well and not over kill. Thanks.

I'm using an ACE DS1013 (195oz-in at .11) on the steering of my Sav, and I put the HPI-2 on the throttle and brake. It's great, but that's not a cheap servo. Really transformed the car though.

For my throttle/brake, I have the Hitec HS5645MG digital servo. That servo originally powered the steering, that is, until I got my HS 5995TG. The 5645 is much more powerful for the duty, so I make special care to have the linkages set up correctly and the EPA well trimmed to prevent damage being passed onto the carb slides.

I run this in 2 of my savages and have no problems yet and can't beat the price for 195oz!

This is the same as the Mamoth ST servo which has been complimented in several reviews for haveing an extremely strong st. servo!
