Default Reverse Modules?

ok, stupid question probably.....

what's the difference between the reverse module (HPI 87032) and the reverse module with mixer (HPI 87039)?

which one works in the savage 25 3-speed transmission? (HPI 87220)

if both, is there REALLY any reason to go for the one with mixer when it appears that it's going to be about twice the price?

ok the hpi reverse, and reverse with mixer, there is a big to slight diff.

the plain reverse one u need to have a 3ch radio.

the one with mixer allows you to use a 2ch radio, you do need an extra standard servo for both but that's the real diff in them.

here are the pro and cons of both:

HPI 87032:

Pro's:
cheaper
allows u to decided when u shift

cons:
requires a 3ch radio
standard servo

HPI 87039:

Pro's
use a 2ch radio

con's
price
standard servo
shifts after a delay period, if not set up right can cause damage.

that's really it. cause the price of the reverse and mixer is about the price you will be spending on a 3ch radio plus the standard cost of the 2ch. so a standard 2ch is 50 expect at least 75-120 for 3ch.

ok, so seeing as I've got the DX 3.0 I could quite safely go with the regular one then, right?

i'm not. just want to see what everyone thinks of the mixer.
i'll stick with the 3 channel radio's for reverse.
its a more solid shift compared to the mixer's.brake 3sec's shift(maybe)grind gears etc.
i think.
