Default Hex screws (Alan keys)

Were can I find a kit or just individual Hex screws for the chasse? I am so tired of fillip screws[:'(]. I want to replace the fine thread (into metal) fillip screws hex screws on the chasse. I only need like 14 hex screws total. I don’t care about the screws that go into plastic. Can these be found at any local parts place?

I would just get a whole kit from for example Tonys Screws...you will have heaps left over for spares and his are good quality high tensile steel, not crappy stainless like RCScrews make...

My buddy's and I usually just go to the local hardware store and get them. Usually they will be able to match them up with hex instead of phillips. But beware, them allen heads strip easy and will be a pain in the behind to get out.

I 2'nd azzman's recommendation. I got a set of Tony's Screws and they are great: http://www.tonysscrews.com/main.sc

Yes, I got Screwed by Tony and loved every minute of it.

I got a full set from SMF.....loving them to death so far, and no problems stripping them.

if it wouldn't be such a nightmare, I'd switch to torx head instead of hex head but, I'm not spending a fortune on more tools....

$33 just to get screwed! I don't need 230 screws. I some need some longer screws and I only need like 14 total. I was just wondering if I could buy screws at a local shop or something.

Torx screws would be sweet.
