NO POWER TO BACK WHEELS PLEASE HELP!
hi i've just finished putting my alloy-case diffs back into the savvy. when i took it for its 1st run there was no power to the back wheels- the propshaft is in what is happening?

i don't know but thanks for the response, i dont understand -why it doesnt work with a locked or less-grease diff?

it should still work like you said.
you should take it apart again, make sure the dogbones are in correctly, the ring and pinion gear are ok, and that the setscrew for the drive shaft to the transmission is tight.
last i guess you could take apart the diff and make sure it is assembled correctly.

thanks horeable, i'm sure the diffs are assembled ok i'm just really annoyed. could it be a problem in the transmission?

if the problem was the tranny. you would not have the front wheels turning.
check the grub screws on the drive cups.
you have the spider gears inside the diff cups.
side drive cup pins?

thanks for the support guys[8D] i dound out after 10mins that the problem was i'd forgot 2 put the drive pin where the hex hub goes! how dumb was that! anyway now it goes, i only have 1 word for it- WOW! this thing flies, has anyone else made the change from the stock s-25 engine to the k4.6? i was genuinely impressed with the massively improved acceleration! thx again

the ns25 is a poor engine
even the mach .26 is a huge improvement and it's only .01cc bigger
any decent .28 engine should make the truck preform totally differently

i agree iamnot i think the stock s-25 engine wasnt enough to turn the savage into a MONSTER
