Default Burning through Plugs

Anyone know what could be the reason for burning through 4 OS 8 glow plugs in like half a gallon? We've been tuning a bit but... really? 4 plugs?

I had same prob when I was breakin my truck in.once you stop tuuning it'll stop goin out so fast but the os 8's still burn out crazy fast. I started runnin the ofna 1/8 scale plugs and I've had the same plug for 3 gallons now.

OH,DUH,is it hot where ur at? the 8 is a extra hot plug and if you runnin when the temp outside is above 90 they die like flys.

Normally short plug life comes from being too lean. You burn the coil up then when you go to restart you have nothing. Bud

Im not sure about Brentwood, but it's been getting pretty hot here in the past few weeks...i've been running a cold plug and she runs great. Axial cold plug, actually, decided to try something new, but of course it is an Axial engine, so..

Go to a Med/Cold plug. Also may be running a bit lean.

in what engine?

OS's #8 is a plug for their engines. almost all other engines take a long plug.
