Default Bodies for XL?

I would like to have a different body for my XL, other then the stock one. But it seems that there is not much big bodies out there. But I was wondering, the Pro-Line ones that were made for the MGT/LST/Genesis/TNX will they fit the XL?

The bodies for those trucks should fit the XL since the truck is about the same sizes as them.

My favorite for engine protection and running is the Dodge mega cab, the engine sits in the cab and the body posts do not need extending to run the body. It looks kind of like a big white turtle though. Bud

I like the looks of the 1972 C-10 the best, but then I am a classic Chevy fan.....

The MGT/LST sized bodies all should fit, the selection is not very broad though.

They also sell a really nice Escalade body, that appears to have the same basic ability to protect as the Mega Cab, lets see, would that Escalade look good in Candyapple red, maybe black, or another big white turtle>>>>> I think maybe pearl white with artic white paint to back it, then silver inside of that.... maybe with some window tint.... the only thing I do not like about the Escalade is to keep it looking nice, I cannot cut the grill like the Dodge... Maybe I need a black Dodge with tinted windows and sun roof.... On my Dodge I did not cut any holes in the back for fuel or cooling. I drilled a small one in the back window for the radio antenna and another in the roof for a glow charger. Even in 100 plus degree temperatures, the engines seem to run cool enough in the body. I am not sure where the air flow comes from, unless it is just big and open and allows it to blow through the chassis... If I did a black Dodge, my botches on the grill cut outs would not be so obvious... decisions, decisions, and I do love that classic Chevy body..... [8D] Bud

Those are some nice lookin' pickups. Bu I'd still love to see a race-style bod on one - especially the CP2.0 large-size for the MGT and co.. If I had an XL I'd want a bod like I had on my Lightning GT.. I think lowered and black would look slick.. The larger size Desert Rat would be interesting too....

Nice Chevys! I like the Escalade body as well. Well, it should run find as with the body with no holes cut in for the engine.

Oh, the stock XL body is over 20 inches long and I found couple bodies that is the same length as it and it will be perfect for it. Some bodies that are 19 inches long also will fit well, but bodies over 20 inches will be very nice.

These:

MGT 8.0 also works great as well: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTZD0&P=7

I wish there was a Toyota Tundra body, I did found one, but it's too small, only for a T-Maxx.
