Default locking diff

what do you guys think about locking the rear diff on a xl thats used for alot of hills and hard bashing? i didnt know you could do this untill i seen this http://cgi.ebay.ca/Alloy-Diff-Lock-S...1%7C240%3A1318

Locking the rear will cause you to spin out easily on most surfaces, but locking both diffs for off-road would give you a lot of traction but may stress/damage parts of the drive-train.

They have 100% feedback, so you'll definitely get the item, but it's from Hong Kong, so it may take a while...

buy a maximizer diff locker i luv mine you just have to change your driving style to get used to it but i think its well worth it
just dont run on tarmac/asphalt because you will shread your tyres really quick
also the one you are looking @ is rubbish cheap and weak [:'(] look @ the maximizer 1 and see the diffrence its worth the money this is not a advert for maximizer

i used to use this locker in my rear, on loss gravel/ stones, i thik its well worth it, you ca hold slides and pull massive burnouts really easily

I locked the rear on my Savage. First small jump and I blew a dog bone. Too much stress on the drive train for my driving style.

thats true i used to have the problem of busting bones "the hardened ones " but my lhs only had the normal type so i bought them and the will twist a little rather than snap so the lesson here is DONT USE HARDENDED BONES [8D]
