Allright, here she be! Wind was farking 40mph+ that day and I kept nocking over my camera tripod and I couldn't hear crap with all the wind and eventually my ears got cold enough I had to call it quits. Fun as hell though, can't wait for more driving this weekend!

Just because you run 6S doesn't automatically mean you will break your truck. My driveline is fine. At this level, you HAVE to learn how to drive the truck. Tuning with Castlelink and just gaining experience with the truck will determine how long your truck lives in the long run. Seriously. Or just get less powerful batteries.

Just got back from "Mini Death Valley" bash pit today and I had a freaking blast!!! My SMC's 6000mAh 28C batteries clocked in at 37 minutes of run time on my stop watch!! This thing has so much freaking power, it absolutely puts my Revo 3.3 to shame. I can't imagine this thing with 6S of power, but now I can't help but be curious.... [8D]

Here's some pics of her in action!

Damn, these batteries were empty! I'm pretty dang sure I had the Auto lipo off cause just all of a sudden the car just basically stopped running cept for a few short bursts of power so I went ahead it shut it off.

Just got back from bashing around in the baseball fields and dirt piles, got an incredible 41 minutes of run time on these SMC batteries! That was timed with my stop watch from moment I switched on power to when LVC kicked in.

Just gave my Flux a new lease on life.

Traxxas Slash body, have to bump up the ride height to stop the tyres hitting the shell.
The Terrapinz are not a bad tyre on this truck either!

Ace Hardware....I'm going there later. Thanks
Walmart also sells them...they're in one of the aisles in the "home repair" section by the extension cords, etc. They're called computer cable wraps....and they work GREAT. Much better than the useless rubber things HPI includes. Has anybody gotten those rubber things to actually work like they're supposed to? lol

That's what it does when the auto lipo is on...mine does the same thing and I know for a fact my auto lipo is turned on.

Hey Guys, I am looking for another body for my Flux. I want one that fits over the batteries like the stock body does.

No, its not about having a quick finger, its about setting up the shot and knowing when to press the shutter. Much the same way for my videos. Editing also helps :P

Most common bodies for the Savage series will also work for the Flux as its essentially the same chassis. Take at look at Prolines.

I have already looked at the Proline ones and none of them are as wide as the stock body is to clear the battery compartments.

You can buy the stock GT-R body from HPI then.

Dude, honestly, the body isn't gonna do much for "protecting" the batteries in a crash. If your that concerned, you should be running hardcased Lipo's anyway.

Hi,
Has any one read this article from MGM http://mgm-compro.com/pdf/en-motor-braking-050409-g.pdf

It really high light the importance of a battery quality (especially its Internal Resistance). Think twice if you are getting a low quality pack to power your flux. You only have to brake once and your esc is gone

K well, Ican't help you any further then as I simply don't know what you want outa the body other then just "covering up" the batteries. Is that much of an eyesore?

Ihave the flux now for a couple of weeks now, and it is great. I have run the truck about 5 times now, and the rear bevel gear has broken twice now. Ihave both batt setups (4s and 6s), but I have to find a solution to the bevel gear thing. Ithink the first time the gear broke was my fault, big jump and was still on the throttle at landing, but the second time, no jumps or anything unusual at all. HPIhas been great, they sent me a new one, but I would rather find a way to get this thing to be more consistant. Ihave had to revo and revo brushless, and Ihave never even had to go into the drivetrain at all. I have not even had a chance to do any real bashing with the flux, and I really want to. So far, I can only marvel at the power and speed on road. Even my losi 8ight, so far, is mroe durable. If anyone has any ideas of a good fix for the flux, I am open to all ideas. Thanks for reading.

D9-You're going to have a hard time finding bodies that will completely cover the battery boxes. Just drop the body as low as you can and call it good.
