Can u fix striped out wheel hexs
I got some wheels but the hub is alil sriped and the hex just spinns inside. Is there a way to to fill the hub with something to keep the hex in place. The corners and ok its the side wall of the hub. I'm gonna fill it will epoxy or something and. Put the hex in there

You can try to epoxy it, but that doesn't usually last too long. The better answer would be to buy new wheels and just change them out. You can eaisly remove a tire from a wheel by baking it in an oven for about 15 minutes at around 350 degrees. I've tried this several times and the tire just pulls right off.

of course the better answer is to just change them out, but if you want to give the epoxy a shot. make sure the area is clean, scratch up the area to give the epoxy some better adhesion, and use some good hard epoxy...

Super glue works, just make sure you mate them square in the hole. I have done this a handful of times and not had one come loose....

FWIW, ThunderbirdJunkie has never, ever ever ever ever had a wheel or tire melt in the oven.

Oh man. I guess I fall into the EL cheepo catigory. But I had the wheels and had to use em so....I was gonna do JBweld but had superglue hand already and gave that a try. Let it set all day and. BANG it work through a tank of pretty harddriveing. Well see how much longer it lasts. Not worried about the hexes ill never use the 14mm again. Anyways. They work for now. Thx guys. Ill let u know when and if they go again. It doesn't seem like they will
