RE: shock oil?
If you want them to REACT faster, then put thinner oil in them. ie, the ability to move up and down faster.
If you want them to REBOUND faster, then put a stiffer spring on. ie, when you drop the truck, it will not go down as much, and come back up quicker.
What is the problem you are trying to fix?

Sell them before you bend them, I had two complete sets and they are not very good shocks. When I got down to three, I gave the remainders away. They are not up to bashing, they look nice and adjust nice, but the shock shafts kink way too easy. In that light, I would recommend you keep lighter oils in them so they might compress easily. Glen

The stocker's aren't bad... I would keep them as spares.
20 wt oil is a good choice. it will make the truck feel more "active" and react faster.
Good luck.

I know that RPM (pretty sure?) makes a dual-rate piston for the slash shocks. Such that it make more resistance on the compression and open it up more when it expands. Never tried them though, in fact I've never heard of anyone using them....just something thats caught my eye in the past.
