I have no idea who might make such a thing

Parts list:

8mm buggy-style axle for Savage 17mm buggy-style hub conversion kit (cannot use normal 1/8 buggy axles...I tried...and wasted $20[:@])
86393 x 2
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...6393&search=Go
3mm dia pin for Hellfire axles to hold the hex on the axle
Z272 x 1
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...z272&search=Go
M5 grub screws
Z741
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFKN0&P=7

3mm drill bit to drill out the 2.5mm hole that's already in the 17mm hubs, because if you don't there's gonna be an UN GODLY amount of slop
Can't find one at Tower, or on Harbor Freight's website, but i found a metric drill set that I used while perusing Harbor Freight. was like $8

and, last but not least...1/8 buggy 17mm hubs of your choice:D I used what was on the LHS's shelf at the time...no idea who made them, and don't care either:D

You can also buy those parts, and substitute the 17mm hubs for LST2/Mammoth ST 23mm adaptors (IN THEORY, I have not tried this...YET:D)

I went through THAT much trouble to get these parts to avoid the purple hubs. Oh well:D

purple can be cool but it takes the right trim schem and hpi don't got it, it needs to be a much darker purple if at all, they need like black crome or something

Nice job there Mcguyver,a big thanks for that info. Its pretty rediculous really i just want these for the clean look, much better than the cheap azz nylok nuts they give you stock.I got this thing w/1"nova wheel extensions, but there worn out and the thng was handling like *****e(super sloppy).Whats the deal w/23mm isnt proline the only wheel manufacturer that has 23mm hubs? Those things look badazz.Cheyenne's w/23mm blue lugnut is my fav.thanks again.

RE: Does anybody make 17mm hub adapters...

Integy has some 23mm adaptors, and pre-mounted 23mm wheels/tires that can be had for fairly cheap. I'm thinking about grabbing a set when I destroy this new set of rubber. Or maybe before, who knows...but the 23mm adaptors have to be for the Hellfire/LST2/Mammoth ST.

the CEN truggy may work, too, since it has them stock, it may be cheaper...but I'd have to know beforehand whether it took a 2.5mm or 3mm pin, since the pins for the 17mm hubs won't work as well.
