I have a ton of new / old HPI parts these are all new in the package, I try to buy up any HPI parts I can when I visit hobby shops since the closest HPI dealer to me is 130 miles away and they do not have much on hand. Just looking to clear out some parts that I do not need or have multiples of. Let me know what you need either by the HPI part number or model.

Gentlemen,
I recently came into possession of an old $800 Savage XL truck with an HPI Racing K5.9cc engine. It has been in storage for many years. Everything except the engine looks good! I've called around only to be told this is an old discontinued vehicle, hence parts are scarce.
The issue I have currently is in trying to overhaul its damaged HPI 5.9cc engine.
I am looking for the following parts:
1. Carburetor p/n 15296 or 15297 (body)
2. " Underhead p/n 15287 (the glow plug insert threads are stripped)
3. Piston & Cylinder p/n 15289 or p/n 15290 complete assy w/ rod
** I actually only need a new piston. .808" OD X ~.707" in height **
* There are no p/n's listed for the engine bearings. The original bearings were sold as part of the p/n 15288 crankcase assy it seems.*
3. Front engine bearing: OD: .750" ID: .2745" Width .238" 7 ball nylon cage, shielded
4. Rear Engine Bearing OD: .989" ID:.550" Width .235" 9 ball nylon cage, shielded
I did what I thought was an extensive google search and didn't find very much. One odd thing is that a new HPI 5.9cc ABC piston/cylinder assy can be found on Ebay, but not with the original p/n.?? So I'm thinking, maybe this is a later version part & therefore have no idea if it was built to the original stock dimensions or not.
I'd hate to have to pay US$160+ for a new part only to find out it doesn't fit this engine!
I guess what I'm asking for is for part sources if you know of any. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Paul Gibeault - [email protected]
