Default Flying Behind Objects?

I know I've seen several screen cap movies in photo scenes of planes, helis, etc.. flying behind objects, like fences, etc... One was recently an Edge or Extra I believe getting it's tail ripped off after dipping down behind the fence and hitting it... Any time I get "behind" an object, it's swallowed... (fly behind the fence at the one field and the entire airplane disappears....) What am I doing wrong?

There is one Scenery that is not mapped out 100%. That's Sparlingfield.

The other 2 are mapped out 100%

The amount of mapping involved in that engire fence would take days to do.

I know they are working on some other new scenes now. More the better.
