Default AFPD with Plane modifications HELP PLS.

Hi guys,

I gave myself a AFDP w/ interface as a present. I liked it. Very much. And I also downloaded from Ikarus site some more planes.

But when I make a modified plane, next time I start the program I have a report saying that it is searching for the interface. And never finds it. So I have to quit the program (actually It doesnt quit, so I press CRTL-ALT -DELETE ) and call task manager. After I go get the file (copy of the plane) out of folder, I start all over. and the program gives me a choice to choose another plane. The plane that we copy and modify doesnt have a serial nr. Maybe this is causing a problem. I think to avoid (not to have) the problem, before I quit the program I have to choose another plane then quit..

Do you have similar problems. Do have any idea how can I correct it. Because I dont want to modify the planes every time I start the sim.

Thanks and regards.

Zafer

I've not seen this one.

Is this all planes or a specific plane?

Hi SLT Pilot,

Any plane I modify, ( I modified Extra330s, Extraex(VTOC), UCND etc.) if it was the last one I played, Next time I start the program doesnt let program to find the interface unless I goto - aircraft- folder and remove it and restart the program.

This is rather time consuming........ And I like to modify planes.....But I dont want to make mod, every time I start. I would be very glad if we find a solution.

Thanks for your reply.
regards.

Zafer, uninstall the sim and reinstall it for now.

Also after you run the uninstall from Add/Remove programs delete the c:\progfiles\ipacs\afpd directory too.

Then do a fresh install. Also install the patch. The patch is not critical update, but put it in anyhow.

STL Pilot,

I was busy with adding the patch. It is much better now. The only thing with the down loaded planes if you modify them next time you start the program and chose that plane they are in all white ( skinless ). I can tho copy the skin from the original.

I didnt uninstall the program, but if I have problems I will do that.

This sim is really something. I think it worths every penny I spent.

Thanks for your concern and help.

Regards.

Zafer.
