The performance of AFPD with everything maxxed out is flawless on my 3 year old system (P4 2.0, 1G RAM, G4 Ti4600). Very happy with it.
Only one issue at this point. My mouse cursor moves slowly within the Main Screen, but moves normally when flying to select the top menus. I don't have any special cursor, just the plain standard Microsoft one. Has anyone experienced this and solved it?
Thanks;
Mike

Mine did that before I upgraded my processor and video card. I'm no techie but my father says in the scheme of things, the pointer is the first to show weakness when your system is overwhelmed.

I just solved my problem.
I thought I had the latest drivers for Directx9 and my Geforce4 Video card. I installed the 9.0 c version which was recently released and installed a newer nVidia driver. Don't know which one did it (guess I should have done it sequentially) but anyway, problem solved.
The mouse was only slow in the Main menu screen, not anywhere else in the sim, and the fps was in the 80s with great performance so I knew it was not my hardware. Just drivers.
Thanks for the input anyway
