Default AFPD and Eclipse 7

Just got my new AFPD. My Eclipse 7 plugs into the USB interface adapter OK but the software doesnt recognize the fact that the transmitter is plugged up and turned on. (or off) Is there some kind of issue with an eclipse 7? I have already upgraded to 1.8.0.15 which didnt help.

Yes, I was in PPM mode. It is working now. The problem was with the connector that looks like a stereo jack. It was intermittently making contact.

Thanks.
