My Dad, who has a 43% Godfrey Ultimate, says Chip's Ultimate on AFP, flies just like his real one. He says it is that easy to fly! Since he has been flying RC since 1950, I tend to believe him!

That's him. 79 years old, and I wish I could fly as good.
Actually, his Ultimate is capable of VERY slow flight, and is easy to fly. Everything seems to happen in slow motion.

Cool...I read his articals he wote for RC magizines. I learned a lot from him how to set up planes ect. One of my friend has always had his elevator set up way to fast....and wondered why he has a hard time making a smooth landing. I think it was your dad that wrote" all you need is enough elevator to do a nice big loop" and that will help to smooth out your flying. Tell him Hi...and I wish him many more years of good flyign. Hello,
I like to set up the big bipe wing type as "flaperon" with JR radio, & then mix elevator to flaps. It makes that big bird respond much quicker. Then I choose the gymnasium as scenery. It's a challenge for sure. Lots of fun. An aggressive snap roll setting is also fun inside the gym. Set the timer to stay on a few more seconds after the crash & fill the gym with airplane parts.
