Default AFPD and G2 controller.

I may be an idiot but I cant' get it to work. I've read the posts that say you have to have both the interface cable and the g2 controller plugged in at the same time. I guess that means they are plugged in to separate USB ports (that's the only way I can do it). I've done this and I still can't figure out how to get the g2 controller to work for the planes. I've tried calibrating as well. What am I missing or am I an idiot (it's possible)?

Fixed it. I didn't have the correct controller selected in the program.
This thing is wicked, blows G2 away.
