hi,
i was wondering if anyone could tell me wether the AFP interface cable will work with AFPD?

No the AFP Interface will not work with AFPD for obvious reasons.
But ... the AFPD cable will work for AFP as the 2nd cable. The AFPD cable will also work with FMS too!
