If I want the AFPD upgrade package (from AFP)
+ and the FF9 adaptor.

Will I have to pay import taxes ontop of the shipping?

Volkan, yes if it gets caught by customs, no if it doesnt. wait till the EU get their act together and the ceiling for shipping tax will be raised from £18 to £1000. yes, one thousand pounds! You can pic it up at inwoods www.inwoodmodels.co.uk for about 100 with the extra dongle

J. Perkins is offering an upgrade for £55. Simply post your old cable and disk to their service department. I posted mine on a Monday and was flying Afp Delux by that Friday.

AEROFLY PRO – AEROFLY PRO DELUXE USB UPGRADE PROCEDURE


1/ Customer to return their Interface lead directly to JPD (Attn: Service department)
• We Recommend you send back via a signed service, as we cannot be responsible for any lost items.

2/ Customer to include a cheque*/postal order/credit card details for £55.00 made payable to J.Perkins Distribution Ltd.
(Cost is £50.00 for USB Interface lead, and £5.00 postage charge)
• Please send a photocopy of your credit/debit card to avoid the need to wait for cheque clearance before we can despatch.
• Our preference is for credit card details as this would speed up delivery time.
• Please make sure that the correct delivery / postal details are correct.

3/ When we receive the unit, we will test it here, and verify that it is a genuine IPACS unit
NOTE
* Any Faulty/non functioning Interface lead, or
* Any non-genuine IPACS Interface leads do not qualify and as such they will be returned to the customer.

4/ JPD will then package and send out a new Aerofly Pro Deluxe USB interface to the customer
• NOTE: There will be approx. 5 days turn-around, from the time we receive the customers Interface lead until they receive their replacement USB interface lead.
