Just bought the new Aero Fly pro Deluxe and a new Video card (ATI Radeon 9250, PCI, 256mb DDR.
My question: Will this vedio card work and what can I expect as in the way of performance? The reason I ask is after buying the Video card and reading thru the spec sheet I notice that thr GRAPHICS SUPPORT on the card is DIRECTX 8.1
Aero Fly Pro Deluxe manual states DIRECTX 9? It also states I can down load it off the CD if needed. Well this video card support the DirectX 9 version?
My PC is not a high end. Its the Emachins T5026
Pentium 4, Processor 519
3.06 GHZ, 1 MB L2 Cache
160GB hard drive / 7200 RPM
512 MB ram
The video card that comes with this machine is built onto the mother board[&o] and is not very good at all. Aero Fly Pro deluxe flys very slow.
Need help, bring me up to speed.
Thanks,
David

You will need to install DirectX 9.x software on your machine, the card features DX 8.1 support/technology, but your card will run in the DX 9.x environment, and should be OK, though there are faster cards out there.

Bret,
I have not opened this video card as yet, what video card would you recommend in the $100 - $150 range? I thought the more memory I had on the card the faster it would be but was told at work that it is not the case all the time. I will take it back tomarrow, I bought the PC and flat panel monitor from Comp USA. Hoefully they would take the card back...
