Default AFPD INTERFACE CABLE

I have AeroFly Pro and use the serial port interface cable which is connected to my Futaba radio. I now have AeroFly Pro Deluxe and it uses and looks for USB interface connection. I bought a Serial to USB adapter thinking this would solve my problem but no luck. Do you have to buy and use THEIR USB interface cable in order for AeroFly Pro Deluxe to find my radio or is there another way around this problem??? Any help will be appreciated.

I believe you need their cable, the one that comes with AFPD.

You could always go out and buy a legal copy and obtain the cable that way. That's what us honest people had to do !

I now have AeroFly Pro Deluxe
When you say you now "have" AeroFly Pro Deluxe does that mean that you "bought" AeroFly Pro Deluxe? Or did you "acquire" AeroFly Pro Deluxe?

I am new to RC flying and was told the best way to learn the basics was to buy the aerofly pro sim. I purchased BOTH aerofly pro and aerofly pro deluxe. The only question i had was if I had to purchase the USB cable with the software or could I buy it separately. I bought both versions with the game commander controller. I know have ( Paid in Full ) a Futaba radio and wanted to use it on sim but cannot because i have no cable. Now whats so freaking hard about that question ?? Next time dont presume someone has an illegal copy. That is a serious offense in my book and I DO NOT like being accused of such !!!!! I think I'll find another forum to use that is more friendly than asking anymore questions to you except for Foamaholic for answering my question nicely. Thanks again Foamaholic

HAPPY FLYING !!!

HI all I have Areofly Pro Deluxe and from what i understand the only difference from the pro is the Deluxe comes with a game controler, so I will also ask the question, if I decide to use my JR 10 x, what do I need and where would I get it.
OH yea, for those people that have too much free time, I bought mine.

You can get Deluxe with just the interface cable, and can use that with your transmitter.
The Deluxe has better 3d foamie planes.

Mountaindew1

Thanks for bringing this up. I had Aerofly Pro/Game commander version and could still use my 10X. I found it was a great way of trying out different programing as well.

I purchased AeroFly Pro Deluxe/Game Commander version and can not use my 10X with this sim... go figure, a step backward in my book.
I know you can get the interface only version but I like to use the Game Commander some of the time to save wear on my 10X.
Apart from this gripe I think it is a great sim.

I think OMP should send whatever MoutainDew needs to get his sim going for free after buying both versions. Especially whith the reply he got!!! Not nice

Have you guys seen the new cable on aeroflypro.com that does exactly what you guys are looking for? It's $34.95. I'm sure you'll still need the Game Commander plugged in for the copy protection to work, but then you can just choose the other interface to use once you're in the program. I did this with my G3 interface when I had both programs at the same time, and I'm sure this will work the same way.
