HI; I just bought airofly pro from a friend. When everthing is hook up and I go to calibration nothing works. When I move the sticks on my JR 10 x nothing. When I bring any plane up I can hear the engine running, but just sits there. I move the control sticks and nothing happens. I sure would appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks

Uh oh ... one of them friend deals.
Ok ... first off. Is this AFP or AFPD. Did he get you all the required cables that are included with AFP? AFP or AFPD will only work with genuine cords.

Hi; Yes it is AFP and I have the interface which plugs into the PC and has pro stamp on it. The other end has a connector which plugs into my JR-10x in the back where the DSC cord goes. I also have a y connector for futaba hookup I guess?

i'm having the exact same problem. I bought the USB cable (has the blue light on it, and is on) and the adaptor chord which attaches to my futaba 7CHP.
Here is the picture of the connector and adaptor i'm using.
[link=http://www.bits-n-pieces.com/pub/connector.jpg]Connector[/link]
I'm not using any flight simulator software yet. I'm going to be purchasing the software after I can get the controller to work with the USB connector. I'm using windows "game controllers" GUI to test the controller's connection.
I did some research, and found the wiring diagram for the futaba square connector [link=http://www.welwyn.demon.co.uk/buddy.htm]Here[/link]. I've used a multimeter and verified that the connections are right. I know the USB connector is getting a signal becuase when I plug it into the adaptor with windows game and controllers calibration up, the axis moves. However, the controller is not sending any signals.
Is there a setting that I need to do on the transmitter for it to activate the plug on the back? or any setting for that matter that is required for the controller to work with it being connected to the PC?
Please help, i've tried everything on my end that I can think of.

STLPilot, thank you. And you hit the problem right on the nose! The problem was that my controller is PCM/PPM and wasn't in PPM mode. After that, I was able to get it to recognize and work. I figured it out this morning but didn't get a chance till now to post. I hope that helps others as well.
