I plan on purchasing AFP Delux and own a Futaba 9CAP...
My question is; Do you draw power from the Transmitter batteries, or does the USB port supply the power?
I`m a little confused with this issue, any help would be appreciated.

The tranny battery powers the TX, but in trainer mode, like when you plug a trainer cord into trainer port, it comes on, but does not transmit RF.
I made a power cord so i dont use batteries up, take a Radio Shack AC adapter with variable voltage, set to 9V, then solder a battery connector on to the end after taking off the standard plug.
Then you have an unlimited 9 volts! fly forever!
I have 300 hours on the 9C Super with this setup on afpd, works good.
