I've been using my sim with no problems, today though when I pluged in my cable no noise was heard from the usb port (bo-bloop) NOR DOES THE PROGRAM FIND IT. I tried all my ports, no joy. All my other stuff works on all the usb ports no issues in device manager, do these things go bad?

So exactly what is the form for, support or what? this post is getting old and no one will return emails nor will OMP support repairs. IKARUS isn't retunning emails either, does anyone repair these things or what?

Hey, I have the same problem. I was just about to post when I found yours. Sounds like we have the same problem, no sound when I plug the cable in, Aerofly doesn't see it. I've tried it on two other computers, neither of which will recognize the cable. I've also tried two different transmitters, although that's obviously not the problem. I guess you're right, they do "just break." I'm hoping we'll get some support on this. If there are two people talking about it here, I'm sure there are others with the same problem.

You must send it to IKARUS for the repair, I actually was impressed with the turnaround. I sent the cord in overnight mail on a Tuesday and got a new replacement on Friday. The reason I didn't receive any reply was because the hurricane messed up the area in Florida where they are located. It only cost me shipping for the replacement of the cord. When I talk to Ed in Tech support he said to send the cord in if it the computer doesn't recognize it.
