Default not idling

Hi

I bought AFPD recently and for some reason the airplanes never idle. I dont think its a problem with my transmitter (Futaba 6EXA) as i am using it with my planes and they seem to be fine. however i can never get the planes in AFPD to idle under 3000rpm(at a completely low trim level). and this rpm keeps increasing very slowly until a point.
I tried the following to correct it
1. editing the aircraft engine, but have had no luck.
2. trimming the throttle to a minimum.
3. setting the EPA for the throttle on my transmitter
4. Editting the radio setup in AFPD. the travel is set to 100 and the expo is set to 0.

For this reason i am never able to get my planes to land, as they come down with a very high speed.

Your guidance is appreciated.

thanks for your help

When you calibrated your radio and it asked you neutralize the sticks did you put the throttle stick in the middle.
Just a thought. Hope it helps

ah the old calibration stick in the middle trick. they should have defined neutral better.

all sticks and trim in the middle for calibrate step 1.
