Hi all,
Initially, after installing the program as it came off the box - everything worked just fine.
I then read here (on this forum) that an update/patch was available (1.8.0.23) - and I went ahead and installed it.
Once I did this, I lost the background music and was never able to get it to play again.
I tried to update my sound drivers, I checked that the mp3 files were still there, I tried pretty much everything I could think of, but without any success.
When I press the M key I simply get the message "Music off" which never toggles to "Music on"... While the engine sound can be turned on and off...
I am running out of ideas... Can someone please advise?
I run it on a Dell Dimension 4600 with 756MB RAM and standard sound card.
Thank you in advance,
OG.

Isn't this forum the official support forum of Ikarus AFPD?
Is there another way to contact someone in this company to get some reasonable customer support?
Thank you in advance,

For me it stopped working after installing 1.8.0.23. Before posting here, I updated all the sound drivers on my PC - as recommended on the AFPD web site - but it still did not work. Only after installing patch 1.8.0.25 it started to work as I posted earlier.
You may want to try updating your sound card drivers as well. Another recommendation (off AFPD web site) is to turn off the hardware accelerator of your sound card - which is another thing to try.
Good luck,
OG.
