Need help !!! New AFPD does not work !!!!
I am in need of some help from some of you AFPD experts !!! I just received my new AFPD software today and installed it as per instructions. I have a Futaba T7CAP computer radio and so I ordered the USB interface with the square plug adapter. Everything seem to install o.k. I have a brand new gateway computer with 1 gig RAM and a nVidia Geforce 6100 card. The graphics look great but here is my problem. I have went in and calibrated as instructed for my radio but when I go to "FLY" it goes to the plane and scenery but the plane just takes off in full throttle and I| have no input controls at all. It acts like it doesn't recognize my radio stick movements. Does anyone know what may be going on here??????????????//

Reverse your throttle channel on either the transmitter or the aerofly calibration menu (but not both). Good luck.

Make sure you've got the transmitter on PPM mode. It won't work with the sim if the transmitter is on PCM mode.
Center all your controls. Trims too. Click okay. Now move all controls to max and push the trims to max at the same time. So, full down elevator and full down trim at the same time. Then full up elevator and full up trim at the same time. Full right rudder and full right trim at the same time---etc.. untill you get all the controls done in all directions. Click okay.
Go into properties and assign the right channels. On my TX--it is:
Chanel 1--throttle
channel 2--ailerons
channel 3--elevator
channel 4--rudder
channel 5--flaps
channel 6--gear
There is a menue where you need to assign all this stuff. If your ging to fly twin engine planes--then assign both engines to throttle channel. Assign both elevators to your elevator chanel in the transmitter.
It takes a bit to get it all set up to work right. Just go through each menu and figure out what they are asking you to configure and then make it work for your transmitter.
