Hi there,
I'm sorry answering so late, it's my fault.
This is the solution, it has been published here about 2 years ago, but I don't find the thread in the moment.
If you copy an AFP-scenery to AFPD, it will show up very dark.
Who switched the light off?
Reason: Ipacs changed the lighting section in the GEO files.
Solution:
Open a GEO file from AFPD, for example farmland.geo.
Copy these lines:
LIGHT_POSITION 0 0.20 -0.40 1.00 0
LIGHT_AMBIENT 0 0.55 0.55 0.55
LIGHT_DIFFUSE 0 1.00 1.00 1.00
LIGHT_SPECULAR 0 1.00 1.00 1.00
Open the AFP scenery GEO file.
Replace these lines by the lines above:
LIGHTAMBIENT 0.80 0.80 0.80
LIGHT1AMBIENT 0.00 0.00 0.00
LIGHT1DIFFUSE 1.00 1.00 1.00
LIGHT1SPECULAR 0.70 0.70 0.70
LIGHT1DIRECTIONTHETA 45
LIGHT1DIRECTIONPHI 245
LIGHT2AMBIENT 0.00 0.00 0.00
LIGHT2DIFFUSE 0.50 0.50 0.50
LIGHT2SPECULAR 0.50 0.50 0.50
LIGHT2DIRECTIONTHETA 15
LIGHT2DIRECTIONPHI 0
That's all, rather easy to move a scenery from AFP to AFPD.
Good luck
