Default 4D electrics question

I see there are a fe 4D planes on the sim and I downloaded some others. My question is how do you set it up to reverse the prop pitch? I am using a JR 9303 radio.

On the info on the 4D plane it says throttle stays the same and the picth only changes. Do I set the plane up in Helicopter mode or plane mode?

Default RE: 4D electrics question

In order to enable the PPS mode, please go to the control panel in AFPD. In the advanced mode, find channel 20 (this is the throttle setting associated with helis, but don't worry about that). Assign this to 0% (not assigned). This will give you max rpm but you can vary the prop pitch from -ve to +ve with the throttle stick, middle stick position for zero pitch. If you would like to vary the prop rpm, you can assign channel 20 to a slider or knob on your radio. After you have done the assigment in the advanced control panel, you will have to calibrate your radio (including the slider). Also ensure that you have patch 1.8.0.25 installed (if you don't have any addons) or 1.9.7.11 (if you have addons)

Default RE: 4D electrics question

Thanks for your help. I did try this out and it sure is weird flying a plane like that. I had to turn then power up some on the throttle. It work at first but was not enough to do things with. So using the slider level i can control rpm's.

I would realy like to try one of these out in person. Very weird seeing a plane movebackwards.
