Default Which plane for Intermediate Aerobatics?

Of the many planes available for AFPD, which one would be good for practicing intermediate aerobatics? There are a lot of choices out there, but I figure there are probably some favorites.

Frank, are you interested in IMAC, 3D or pattern flying?

Hi Mike, I would love to be able to fly IMAC sequences. However, I need a lot of work on basic and intermediate skills before I am ready for anything advanced.

I was in the hobby for about 10 years, quit about 20 years ago, and am now developing a new interest in it (i.e., my kids are out of the house now). Before, spending one day a week at the field did not allow me to get very proficient at aerobatics. I figure that with the simulator I can now get enough practice time in to make a difference.

Hi Frank, there are quite a few planes that will be great for IMAC practice e.g. the Extra 330, Cap 232, and Giles 202. You could set your simulation speed to 60-80% in the beginning and then gradually increase it to 100% as you become better at the routines. There are a few excellent videos on IMAC made with AFPD here http://www.downonthedeck.com/videos_dod-jersey-sim.htm
