Hi Richie, Ikarus USA was closed down more than a year ago and has been taken over by Hobby Lobby. What type of radio are you using? Did you set the radio to PPM mode? Could you tell me what is the version number printed on the disk and if you have installed any addons? Pls post a photo of the usb interface cable and adapter cable that you have.

I did not know, Thanks Rajul. I'm using the JR radio, I have adapter for JR radios and radio is switched to PPM mode. I was using this setup for many years without any problems this is why I believe that this is cable problem, I've tried two different TXs.
I'm at work now, I will provide the picks of the interface later on.
Thanks again,

The version printed on the disc is 1.8.0.17. At this time I don't have any add-ons, however I did installed some update available on Ikarus website in effort to resolve this problem. Just to be clear-the cable did not work prior to the installing that update. Attached please find the picture of the cable. I'm not sure if this is the original cable. The cable was send for service on 11-6-2006, at that time computer could not see the adapter, this time the adapter is detected but plug-in transmitter is not.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Thanks,

Hi Richie, thanks for the photo. Can you tell me what is the version number displayed on the top right corner of your main AFPD screen? Also, pls unscrew the rubber covers at both ends of the adapter cable you have (the cable that goes between the radio and usb interface cable) and check for any broken wires.

Please ship your usb interface cable (keep the adapter cable with you) to the service department below for a replacement cable, with a brief description of your problem, daytime phone number, and email address. Request for an "old style" usb cable. You may attach this thread for reference.
