Default USB Cable Problem

I think I am having USB cable problem. All te control surfaces on any plane jump all around. Even when I try and calibrate it does the same thing. The lines in calibrate are all over the place.

Which radio are you using? Did you set your radio to PPM mode? Pls post a photo of the usb interface cable and adapter cable that you're using.

JR radio and it is set to ppm. I have been using this radio with AFPD for a long time. THis is a condition that has just started. I have tried another computer and different radio with the same results. I can however move the cable around at the radio and it sometimes stops for a few moments. The only common between computers and radios is the cable.

You need to use a JR adapter cable between the usb cable and the radio. Otherwise, your connection will be intermittent as you are experiencing. You could get one from Hobby Lobby - part no AFP-02

Just odd this has not been a condition before. I have had this over a year. I took the end cap off and have found the the tabs are loose. I can get a replacement plug and solder it in place. Can you give me the wire diagram. It looks as if only 2 wires. Which goes where, so I can be sure it is correct. I just ordered the adapter.

I don't think you need to replace the plug, just resolder it. The white wire is the signal wire and it is soldered to the center post. Also, add some solder between the center post and lug.
