Corrupted AFPD Disk ?

Hi all, tried many times to install AFPD and now im getting corrupted graphics on the plane, everything else is fine, any ideas ? ............

Which plane is this? Is it a stock model that came with AFPD or a third party model? Does the problem occur with every plane or just this one?
Additionally, please provide the following info: 1) Tell me exactly what kind of hardware you have, especially 3D graphics card, CPU, and any other hardware installed, sound card etc. 2) What is the RAM size? 3) Which operating system are you using, XP or Vista? 32 bit or 64 bit? 4) Tell me exactly what drivers you installed for the 3D graphics card. 5) Which addons do you have? 6) What is the version number printed on your main AFPD disk? 7) How did you install the main disk, addons, and patch (which version?), and what was the sequence of installation? 8) Post the tm.log file which you can find in the following directory C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe You may open the file with a text editor like word or notepad. Just copy and paste the entire content into your post. |

my pc : windows 7 64bit Intel Quad Core @ 3.4gig 4 gig, Mushkin 1050 DDR2 x2 ATI HD 4870 running crossfire Gigabyte X48-D25 All drivers loaded are the very latest i dont think the issue here is my rig or any install procedure as ive been running afpd for a couple of years now and have loaded it many times, i uninstalled it a few months ago and then decided to reload it last week and no matter which way i go about it with/without addons it will look like this before and after patches too, i have also aerofly5 installed which is running fine of course with no probs, the sim physics, controls, menus etc etc all work fine its just the graphics. the plane in the pick is the stock extra 300s, its on all models stock or extras and even addons 1,2&4, im also a pc gamer and have had no probs at all with games graphics wise. thanks for help, i appreciate it ..... |

when i first reinstalled a few days ago i was using 10.6 but last night i updated to 10.7 just released in hope that this would be the cure as 10.6 were buggy as hell, but no cigar unfortunately [&o]

Nick, I have a PC configuration close to yours but I am running 10.2 with no issues for AFPD and AF5. I would suggest that you try anything from 10.2 to 10.5. The 10.5a is a hotfix version. Hopefully 10.8 will resolve these issues. Please ensure that you uninstall previous drivers before installing another.

installed 10.7 and was getting idle temps on main card of 80 deg. !!! [:@] hopefully a single 5970 will be on the books for me soon :D will try 10.2 after 10.4 if no luck .... oh p.s i always clean with driver cleaner pro (safe mode) |
