I have a brand new DA 100 for a RadioCraft Extra 330LX, I also have KS cans for it. Just wondering if anybody has any thrust numbers, I've never seen any.

Where'd you get the DA, Chris?

The thrust will vary depending on the prop, though I wouldn't be surprised if it topped 50 pounds.

Hey, I got the plane and engine in Mollola. We forgot the prop at the guys house so he's gonna bring it to Cour d' Alene. I think its like a 24-12 3-blade and its an AirModels

Great! It should pull the RadioCraft very well.

My new IMAC plane will be coming soon!

No, but will try to make the September events.

I'll definitely be getting a DA-100 for my new one. I just love the way they run. The way it pulls a Fiberclassics out of a hover is amazing, and it runs so smooth too.

Chris, don't worry about the thrust of the DA100, it will be plenty. Make sure you manage that throttle. You want a constant speed and the 3 blade should help. Send me your email address, and I will send you a program I have that calculates HP & Thrust based on Prop and RPM. Take care and I will see you at the field.

24x12 3-blade?? I am running a 26x12 Air models :-D. It will be internesting to see how the motor turns it. You might be ripping that 3-blade :-D. I would say that either a Mejzlik 25x12 or Air Models 26x12 is the way to go with the DA. The Mejzlik has a wider blade so that is why you would need an inch less diameter. But I am loving my 26x12. Had to do some fixes on my FC after Saturday and I have a new rudder coming too :-D

I just bought Harry Taylors 35%, it came with a 25-12 airmodels 3 blade on slimline mufflers (which are restrictive). The plane flies great. In 100 degree heat the verticle was awesome. It was turning 6500 rpms. The only thing I didn't like was I had to fly with lots of throttle. There was not much power before 1/2. I put in a throttle curve and now I can fly lower on the stick. My FC 2.6 extra was flown at 1/4 on the horizontal and it was still fast.
