I'm not sure where to post this type of question but.... I have seen a few planes that have the sock type covers over the blades of the props. Where would you get those? I have just finished - but still need to get out and fly - a 1.20 sized Katana. Looking forward to it! I'm getting the bags for the wings and have already stuck my prop in my arm! OUCH! (sometimes it just happens!) Not being a huge fan a hanger rash, I'm looking to protect all that I can.
Thanks everyone,
RB

I didn't find any prop covers offered at Horizon. Any other suggestions guys? These are for 40 to 120 size planes. I'm a lousy seamstress, but I suppose I could try. Help! Help!

I know H9 has them, I have seen them in LHS, but I spent 15 mins on their website and couldn't find them either. Maybe call them?
Wingbags.com would probably make you a set if you asked.

www.wingtote.com has prop bags and I am sure if you talk with Trevor he will make you a prop slip-on cover for a very reasonable amount of money.
Horizon does sell prop covers also so you can do to them and call and order for a sure fast way to get one

Is there anything else to consider? Looking cool is very important!
I did stick the end if the APC prop in my forarm loading it in the trailer. I take a sharp knife while I'm balancing it and dull the sides and try to dull the tips but they stay a little sharp. I just can't seem to be able to find them anywhere, but I have seen them on planes everywhere.
Confused,
Lee

I also found some for sale in Vegas, but when I sent a query to Horizon(Hanger 9) I was told they no longer make them. If you need them and find some then buy them. I don't think Hangar 9 is producing anymore.

On the east coast the Vel-tie guy distributes the prop covers. He supplied H-9 with theirs. Good people to work with. Look for "blade gloves" in the item list: http://www.veltye.com/185474.html
