I think you're right Kelly. The way I understand it the presentation can mean quite a lot depending on placement and k-factor involved in the maneuver. I havn't seen Fred or Baron to ask them ...just my interpretation.

From what I've interpreted, it's up to the pilot on how he wants to layout the maneuvers. The pilot will have to do more thinking now as far as setting up for the next maneuver to make it look as good as possible as far as positioning and flow of the sequence. For instance, if you had equal length breaks between maneuvers I'm sure you would score higher than if you flew a short break then after the next maneuver carried the next one way down on the end. I think the key to flying the zoneless box will be setting up the sequence in your head as symetrical and consistant as possible. Any input from someone who know's what they're talking about unlike me?

Scoring of individual maneuvers will be just as it has been in the past except that there will not be any downgrade for not centering a "center" maneuver. At the end of the sequence, you will receive a "positioning" score (from 0 to 10) with a K-factor dependent upon what class you are flying (Unlimited K is higher than Sportsman). It is up to you to make the sequence "flow" well to receive a good positioning score.
