I have a Futaba 9C. Do I use a P mix to mix this? Should the elevator move throughout the whole throttle range or just at low motor? Played with it last night but I think I'm missing something here. The idea is to fly a STRAIGHT downline at low motor.

I do not have my radio in fornt of me right now, but I had the mix set up on a switch so I could turn it off for landing. There is a 3-2 mix allready in the menu (Throt - Elev). It will let you set a curve, but I just set it to -2% elev when at 10% or less on the throttle (this is what my Edge took to make perfectly straight down lines. I also had my throttle to rudder mix on the same switch to keep the uplines straight for as far as you can see.

On the Futaba radio you can program it so you choose the position on the throttle stick which activates the mix. On mine, if the stick is all the way down (idle), then it mixes in a certain percent of down elevator. If the stick is one click higher than idle, there is no throttle to elevator mixing. This is done with the Airbrake function on the transmitter. I also use a switch to turn the mix off for landing.
