Default waiting for IMAC membership

I applied for my IMAC number in mid Febuary.I filled out all the required info on the form downloaded from the IMAC site, got a US money order for 20 bucks and sent it .April 3/04 I e-mailed the secretary Steve about the delay..no answer.April 16 I e-mail the president Tom if he new anything...no answer.I asked about it on the website ...nothing.
Does anyone have any idea whats up here? If they didn't get the application why not say so?

Steve,
I recently joined IMAC and wondered about my membership number. This is what I've found out. They no longer send out membership cards because of expense etc. Simply go to the IMAC website and log in. Then click on your name, a second window comes up with "GENERATE IMAC MEMBERSHIP CARD" Click on that and you can print all the cards you want.

I had the same experience, and they also mis-spelled my name.

Steve,

Please allow me to post my response to you in it's entirety...

Steve,
I have received no record of your dues or application at this time. If you have received your canceled check, please advise me ASAP and I will pursue the situation. As you know, we are in the process of changing to a new sec/treas so situations such as these will be a thing of the past.

Also, please note that you can renew on-line or if you prefer regular mail, we have a new mailing address.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. We will get it resolved quickly.

Roy

We are in the middle of transitioning to a new sec/treas. This involves collecting records, finding mail, cross-checking information, and rectifying any issues that we find or those that are bought to our attention.

You can ALWAYS reach me via email ([email protected]) and I guarantee you a timely response.

Thank you...
Roy

If you are logged in on the website, your membership should show your status.

FWIW - I renewed my lapsed IMAC membership on Friday evening.

Membership area opened up immediately after doing PayPal. Within about an hour I was able to print a new card and I got back my original number.

Very easy and worked seamlessly.

YMMV
