Default good plane for 3W-24?

I've got this great little gas engine, 3W-24 and would like to know what would be a good airframe for it?

any thoughts?

Would the new little GSP Yak-54 be good/bad combo?

71.5" wingspan
806 sq. in. area
12 lbs.

any thoughts?

Jai

Hmmm.......I'm wondering how that would fly a Hanger9 Edge540. ? I fly mine with a 1.80 glow(Moki) that probaby weighs near the same....not quite sure on the weight diff though.

I fly my 24 on a 3W Extra fun. The airframe was designed for the engine.
Go to Aircraft International or Cactus. they have them in stock. The airplane is happy
flying 3D or the pattern! Hope this helps...Keith McDonald

The little 3w-24 with pitts muffler and ignition weighs 3 lbs 3 oz (or 51 oz.) This doesn't include the ignition battery that you will need. How does this weight compare to the Moki, with muffler?

I read in this post [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1642877/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm]GSP Yak54 is here!! I am liking this one![/link] where someone used the Moki 210 and the plane balanced fine.

FokkerDrvr- What does your 3W Extra Fun weigh? I'm just trying to decide if my 24 will be ok or not on this YAK, or should I wait for a more suitable airframe? Also, what prop do you recommend? I'm told it will turn an 18X8 @ 7950.
